Five short parts with prompts under each. Draft it calmly and revise; there's no deadline here except the one you choose. Want it as a printable one-pager? Enter your email below.
Name, your relationship, one honest line about standing there.
"For those who don't know me, I'm ____, and ____ was my ____ for ____ years."
The summary you'd give a stranger. Not facts — the shape of them.
"He/She was the kind of person who ____ — and if you knew them, you'll know exactly what I mean by that."
The most specific memory you have. What happened, what it showed. One story lands; five blur.
"Let me tell you about the time ____ . It took me years to realise that ____ ."
What changes because they were here: habits, people, places, the small things you'll keep doing.
"I can't hear ____ without thinking of them. I'll keep ____ , because that was theirs."
End on them, not on your grief. Their phrase, a wish, or a simple goodbye.
"So: thank you, ____ . ____ ."
The same five parts as a clean, printable one-page skeleton — with a variant set of prompts for a father, a mother, a partner and a friend. Free, one email, nothing else.
